Description
Heeira is a tall, square stoneware vase in beige, 8cm long, 8cm wide and 26cm tall. Fine vertical ribs run up its sides, and on two neighbouring faces the ribs swing into a pair of interlocking arcs, like a soft S drawn in relief. On one face the curve sits in the upper part of the vase; on the next it sits low, close to the base, so the pattern shifts as you turn it. The square opening is narrow, which suits a few chosen stems far better than a full bouquet.
At 26cm tall it is a good height for a side table, a windowsill, a bookshelf or the end of a sideboard, where it reads as a slim column rather than a wide display. A narrow opening like this one does much of the arranging: two or three branches of blossom, a sprig of eucalyptus or a handful of dried grasses stay upright instead of spreading. It sits just as well on a hallway console or a bedside table, and it makes an easy gift for someone setting up a first home, since beige rests comfortably beside wood, rattan, linen and white walls.
It is made entirely of stoneware, a dense, hard-fired ceramic, and it weighs 0.97KG, which gives it a solid feel in the hand for a vase of its size. The ribs and arcs are shaped into the body itself, not printed, so they catch the light and lay fine lines of shadow across each face. For styling, we like it turned so the low arc faces the room, holding one tall branch that rises well clear of the rim; for a fuller grouping, stand it beside a shorter, rounder vase in a neighbouring neutral.

Frequently Asked
What is the vase made of?
It is made of 100% stoneware, a dense, hard-fired ceramic, with the ribbed pattern shaped into the body rather than added afterwards.
How big is the Heeira vase?
It is 8cm long, 8cm wide and 26cm tall, a slim, upright shape with a narrow square opening suited to a few stems or branches.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 0.97KG, a good, solid weight for a slim vase standing 26cm tall on a shelf or side table.
What colour is it?
It is beige, a soft neutral that sits comfortably with wood, rattan, linen and pale walls, so it suits most rooms in the home.
What looks best in a vase this narrow?
A few stems work best: two or three branches of blossom, a sprig of eucalyptus or a small bunch of dried grasses will stay upright in the narrow opening.
Is anything else included?
No. You receive the vase on its own; the styling props shown are not included, so flowers, branches and books are not part of the order.
