Description
This is a tall, slim display cabinet in blue, built mainly from fir wood and MDF, with two doors of tempered glass. It is 81cm long, 18cm wide and 122cm tall, so it gives you real height for display while taking very little space from the room. Inside, three shelves divide it into four compartments, and the back wall is lined with a patterned paper printed in the manner of painted tiles, which shows through the glass even when the shelves are empty. Two metal handles meet at the centre of the doors.
Its shallow build is what makes it so useful. It fits a hallway, a landing, an alcove beside a chimney breast or the end of a kitchen wall, places where a deeper cabinet would get in the way. It can stand against a wall or sit on a sideboard or low chest to give that piece more height. The glass doors keep dust off the things you want to see, which suits a collection of ceramics, jugs and vases, a row of favourite books or small framed pictures. It suits anyone who likes storage with some character, and the tile print gives even plain pottery a lively background.
The frame has a lacquered, distressed finish: the blue lacquer is worn back along the edges, so the cabinet has the look of a well-loved older piece from the day you unpack it. The doors hang on small hinges at either side. Care is simple: wipe it clean with a moist cloth. It weighs 17.47KG, and the maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download. For styling, leave gaps between pieces so the tile pattern shows through, and keep the top for a stack of books or one tall jug.

Frequently Asked
What is the cabinet made of?
It is 40% fir wood, 30% tempered glass, 15% MDF, 14% paper and 1% iron. The paper is the tile-pattern lining on the back wall.
How big is the cabinet?
It is 81cm long, 18cm wide and 122cm tall, and it weighs 17.47KG. That slim build suits narrow spaces where a deeper cabinet would not fit.
How many shelves does it have?
There are three shelves inside, dividing it into four compartments behind two glass doors, each door with its own metal handle.
How do I clean it?
The maker's care advice is to wipe it clean with a moist cloth, which covers both the lacquered frame and the glass doors.
Is the worn look on the edges meant to be there?
Yes. The cabinet has a lacquered, distressed finish, so the blue is worn back along the edges on purpose to give it an aged look from new.
Does it come with assembly instructions?
Yes. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download, so you can read through the steps whenever you need them.
