Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch rocker cover is pre-printed with the word 'BOILER' in black text on a white ABS body. The cover clips onto standard Knightsbridge grid switches, replacing the existing rocker to label circuits in utility rooms, commercial kitchens, plant rooms and domestic boiler cupboards.

Designed as a simple circuit identification aid, the cover allows switch plates to be labelled without adhesive stickers or handwritten notes. The 33mm x 16mm rocker fits Knightsbridge grid plates, which use interchangeable modules (switches, sockets, data ports, dimmers) mounted onto metal or plastic grid frames. The white UREA finish matches standard white grid plates across the Knightsbridge range.

The ABS construction gives the rocker a slightly rigid feel compared to softer thermoplastic covers, and the IP20 rating confirms it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism without requiring tools or adhesive, so covers can be swapped between circuits if labelling needs change over the life of the installation. The white body shows fingermarks more readily than darker finishes, but wipes clean with a damp cloth.
