Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replaceable rocker marked 'COOKER HOOD' in grey lettering on a matt white ABS body. The cover clips onto standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches, replacing the blank rocker with a pre-printed designation that identifies the circuit or appliance controlled by that switch.

Designed for use in kitchens, utility rooms and commercial settings where multiple appliances are controlled from a grid plate, the pre-printed cover removes the need for handwritten labels or adhesive stickers that peel or fade over time. The cover fits Knightsbridge grid modules for appliance isolation switches, typically used to control cooker hoods, washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters and other fixed appliances.

The matt white finish matches standard white grid faceplates and the grey engraved lettering remains legible under kitchen lighting without creating glare. At 33mm high by 16mm wide, the rocker fits the standard Knightsbridge grid module footprint and adds 6.8mm of projection from the faceplate once clipped in. The ABS construction with a steel spring mechanism provides the tactile click of a standard rocker switch.

Will this fit any rocker switch?

This cover is designed specifically for Knightsbridge grid rocker modules. It will not fit standard single-gang rocker switches or grid systems from other manufacturers. Check that your existing installation uses Knightsbridge grid components before ordering.

How is the cover replaced?

The existing rocker pulls off the grid module by hand — no tools required. The new marked cover clips onto the same module in its place. The electrical connections behind the module remain untouched during rocker replacement.

What other markings are available?
