Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'BOILER' in grey print on a matt white ABS surface. The cover clips onto Knightsbridge modular grid switch modules, allowing boiler circuits to be clearly labelled at the switch point rather than relying on memory or unmarked rockers.

Designed for residential, rental property and commercial installation where multiple appliances or heating circuits share the same grid plate, the marked cover removes ambiguity when operating switches. Common applications include kitchen utility areas with boiler, washing machine and dishwasher circuits; plant rooms with multiple heating zones; and commercial kitchens where boiler controls sit alongside other heavy-draw circuits. The rocker clips off and on without re-wiring the switch module behind it.

The 33mm x 16mm rocker fits all standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules. Construction is ABS plastic with a steel spring clip mechanism behind the rocker, giving a firm snap-fit onto the switch body. The matt white finish matches Knightsbridge's matt white grid plates and blends into white-painted walls without the reflective sheen of gloss white. IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry indoor locations but not bathrooms or wet areas.

Will this fit any grid switch module?

This rocker is designed for Knightsbridge grid switch modules. It will not fit non-modular switches or grid systems from other manufacturers. If you have an existing Knightsbridge grid plate, the rocker will clip onto any switch module in that plate.

Can the rocker be changed without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the front of the switch module and can be removed and replaced without touching the wiring behind the plate. This allows you to relabel circuits as appliances are moved or replaced.

What other labels are available?

Is it suitable for bathrooms?
