Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'BOILER' in raised lettering, finished in matt black. The cover clips onto standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules, replacing the blank rocker supplied with the base grid system. ABS plastic construction with steel internals gives the cover rigidity while keeping the weight low enough not to affect switch action.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where appliances or circuits need labelling at the switch point, the marked cover prevents confusion when multiple switches sit side-by-side in a grid plate. Typical applications include utility rooms with separate circuits for boilers, immersion heaters and water pumps, or commercial kitchens where appliance circuits need to be identified quickly during maintenance. The cover fits all Knightsbridge grid switch modules rated 10AX and 20AX.

The matt black finish matches Knightsbridge's Grid Pro range and coordinates with matt black faceplates across the Knightsbridge catalogue. The raised lettering remains legible even in low light and the IP20 rating suits standard indoor dry locations. At 33mm height and 16mm width, the rocker matches the profile of Knightsbridge's standard grid switch rockers, so replacing one rocker in a multi-gang grid plate does not create visual misalignment.

This rocker cover fits all Knightsbridge grid switch modules rated 10AX and 20AX. It is not compatible with dimmer modules, socket modules or data modules, which use different cover profiles.

Can the rocker be swapped without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the existing switch module without needing to disconnect any wiring. Remove the existing rocker by pulling it straight off the module, then clip the new marked rocker into place.
