Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is a white thermoset resin module laser-printed with the designation 'FAN', designed to clip into Curved Edge grid switches and plates. The cover measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide with a 10mm projection from the grid frame, matching the standard module size across Knightsbridge's Curved Edge grid system.

Grid systems allow individual switch functions to be customised and labelled, making them common in commercial kitchens, plant rooms, AV installations, and multi-room residential lighting control. This rocker is used to mark fan control switches in bathrooms, kitchens, or extract systems, helping installers and end-users identify the correct switch in a multi-gang plate. The rocker clips into place without tools and can be swapped out if room functions change.

The thermoset resin construction is harder and more impact-resistant than standard thermoplastic switch components, and the white finish is anti-microbial to ISO 22196:2011 standard, tested by third-party laboratories. Is this compatible with standard switches?

No. This rocker cover is designed exclusively for Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid switches and plates. It will not fit standard switch rockers or grid systems from other manufacturers.

Can I change the rocker after installation?

Yes. The rocker clips into the grid frame and can be removed and replaced without re-wiring the switch behind it. This allows room designations to be updated if functions change.
