Description

The Grand Ball is a 25cm spherical glass pendant with a silver mirrored coating, suspended from a slim polished chrome stem and exposed cable. The glass globe takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately), with the bulb visible through the clearer crown of the orb and reflected back as multiple highlights across the mirrored surface.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and hallways, the pendant works as a single accent above a breakfast bar or in clusters of two or three at staggered drops over a longer dining table or kitchen island. The 150cm cable gives generous adjustment range on installation, allowing the globe to sit anywhere from just below the ceiling rose down to standard pendant height of 700-800mm above a worktop.

The mirrored silver finish reflects surrounding colours and surfaces, so the pendant tends to pick up the tone of nearby walls, cabinetry and flooring rather than reading as a fixed silver. With a filament-style E27 bulb fitted, the bulb itself becomes a visible feature inside the globe, doubled by the reflective interior. The 25cm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough to work in smaller rooms or to be grouped without overwhelming the space.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A filament-style or globe E27 LED works well here as the bulb sits visibly inside the glass and is reflected by the mirrored coating, making the bulb itself part of the look.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to suit the ceiling height and required drop. For a kitchen island or breakfast bar the globe typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop.

Can multiple Grand Balls be hung together?

Yes. The 25cm diameter is well suited to clustering. Two or three pendants at staggered drops work over a long dining table or kitchen island. Each pendant has its own ceiling fixing, so spacing and drop heights can be set freely on installation.

Is the mirrored finish on the outside or inside of the glass?

The silver coating is applied to the glass to create a mirrored effect. Clean only with a dry or barely-damp soft microfibre cloth and avoid abrasive sponges or chemical sprays, which can damage the reflective layer.
