Description

Glory is a pair of reindeer candle holders cast in 100% polyresin, one standing alert and one lying down with its legs folded beneath it. Both are sculpted with branching antlers, a textured coat that picks out the fur, a bridle across the muzzle and an ornate saddle cloth, with tassels on the standing reindeer, and each has a recessed opening in its back to take a candle. The larger stands 19cm tall and 18cm wide, the smaller 13.5cm tall and 14cm wide, so the two sit together as a small brown Christmas scene rather than two identical pieces.

They are made for the Christmas season, and their size suits the places where decorations gather: a windowsill, a mantelpiece, a sideboard or the centre of a festive table. Because one is taller than the other, they look right side by side, the standing reindeer behind and the resting one in front, and they work just as well split between two rooms.
