Description
The Glacia is a 1200mm rectangular linear canopy designed to support up to six pendant lights from a single ceiling rose. Made from white-finished metal, the canopy measures 1200mm long by 35mm projection, providing a low-profile mounting solution for multi-pendant installations where individual ceiling roses would clutter the ceiling plane.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and workbenches where multiple pendant lights need to be mounted in a line, the Glacia distributes the six drop points evenly along its 1200mm length. The canopy connects to a single ceiling rose or junction box, with internal wiring distributing power to the six outlets. This allows a unified linear arrangement of pendants without needing to cut six separate ceiling holes or install six separate roses.
The white metal finish suits contemporary, Scandi and light-toned interiors where visible hardware needs to recede rather than contrast. The 35mm projection from ceiling to base of the canopy keeps the fitting close to the ceiling line, minimising visual bulk. The rectangular profile provides a clean edge rather than a circular or organic shape, reinforcing the linear geometry of the pendant arrangement below.
The canopy is supplied without pendant lights or cables — those are selected and installed separately based on the specific design intent. The Glacia supports standard UK mains wiring with six outlets rated for typical pendant light loads. Ideal Lux backs the fitting with a five-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
Are pendant lights included?
No. The Glacia is a mounting canopy only. Pendant lights, cables and bulbs are selected and installed separately based on your design requirements.
How is the canopy wired?
The canopy connects to a single ceiling rose or junction box. Internal wiring inside the canopy distributes power to the six outlet points. A qualified electrician should install the canopy and connect the pendant drops.
What spacing do the six outlets have?
The six outlets are distributed evenly along the 1200mm length. This typically results in approximately 200mm spacing between drop points, though exact positions depend on the internal configuration.
Can this be ceiling or wall mounted?
The Glacia is designed for ceiling mounting. The rectangular profile and horizontal orientation are intended for overhead installation above tables or islands, not vertical wall mounting.
