Description
This set of two square nesting trays features a photographic giraffe print on a dark teal-to-black gradient background, sealed beneath a protective glass surface. Each tray has an MDF frame finished in antique gold with a textured, aged appearance, and cut-out side handles for lifting and carrying. The large tray measures 45 x 45 x 4.5cm, and the small tray measures 40 x 40 x 4.5cm, allowing them to nest together for compact storage.
Designed for serving drinks, appetisers or breakfast items, the trays also function as decorative catchalls on ottomans, coffee tables or console surfaces. The glass base protects the giraffe artwork from spills and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The side handles are cut into the MDF frame rather than added hardware, giving a flush profile that sits flat when stacked or placed on surfaces.
The giraffe print shows three animals in profile against a moody gradient backdrop, giving the trays a safari-inspired aesthetic that pairs with natural textures, warm metallics and both traditional and contemporary interiors. The antique gold finish on the frame shows deliberate distressing and darker patches that suggest age, contrasting with the crisp photographic print beneath the glass. At 2.8kg combined weight, the set has enough heft to feel substantial without being unwieldy for everyday use.

Frequently Asked
Can the trays be used for hot items?
The glass surface can tolerate warm items like coffee cups or teapots at typical serving temperatures. Avoid placing items directly from the oven or hob onto the glass, as sudden extreme heat may cause thermal stress.
How are the trays cleaned?
Wipe the glass surface with a damp microfibre cloth and mild detergent if needed. Dry immediately to avoid water marks. The antique gold MDF frame should be dusted rather than wet-wiped, as excessive moisture can damage the textured finish.
Do the trays nest completely flat?
Yes. The smaller 40cm tray fits inside the larger 45cm tray with minimal vertical stack height, allowing both to be stored together in a cupboard or on a shelf without taking up separate space.
What rooms are these suited to?
The trays work in living rooms on ottomans or coffee tables, in bedrooms as jewellery or accessory organisers on dressers, in hallways on console tables for keys and post, or in kitchens for serving breakfast or afternoon tea.
