The Genoa is an 18cm white marble sculpture carved into a layered arch form with concentric ridges that run from the base to the apex. Each ridge is accented with hand-painted gold detailing that follows the curve of the arch, creating a contrast between the polished white marble surface and the metallic lines. The marble itself shows subtle grey veining that varies between individual pieces depending on the section of stone used.
