The Galaxy Square is a 670mm square LED suspension light with a polished chrome frame set with Asfour crystal tiles on all four sides. An integrated 36W LED module inside the frame delivers 3380 lumens at 4000K cool white, with the light passing through and refracting across the crystal surfaces to create spectral reflections across surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Galaxy provides both task and decorative function. The 1200mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 300mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or kitchen island depending on ceiling height. The square geometry suits rectangular tables and island worktops better than circular pendants, distributing light more evenly across the length of the surface below.

The polished chrome frame provides a cool metallic finish that pairs with stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel hardware and contemporary grey-toned interiors. Each Asfour crystal tile is precision-cut K9 optical crystal, chosen for its clarity and refractive index. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral-to-cool white light that renders colours accurately under task conditions, making it suitable for food preparation areas and dining settings where colour accuracy matters. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 8 hours per day.

No. The integrated 36W LED module is non-dimmable and operates at fixed output on standard 230V mains. The fitting will not function correctly if wired to a dimmer switch.

What ceiling height is needed?

The drop is adjustable between 300mm and 1200mm during installation. For positioning above a dining table or kitchen island, the fitting typically sits 700-900mm below the ceiling, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the fitting at its minimum 300mm drop if used as a semi-flush mount.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The Asfour crystal tiles can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth while the power is switched off at the mains. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or LED housing. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on crystal or chrome.

What is the light output compared to a bulb fitting?

The 36W LED delivers 3380 lumens, which is approximately equivalent to three 75W incandescent bulbs or three 12-15W LED bulbs. The 4000K colour temperature is cooler and more neutral than the 2700-3000K warm white typically used in living spaces, making it better suited to task lighting than ambient mood lighting.
