Description

Our Frost candles come as a pack of four tall paraffin dinner candles, each 35cm tall and 2.2cm across, and the pack mixes two forms. Two are straight and taper gently to the wick, with a marbled surface that gives them a frosted look. The other two are twisted in a close spiral from base to tip, their colour changing in graded bands along the length. Together they make a multicoloured group that looks chosen rather than matched, which is the reason to buy them as a four.

At 35cm they have the height for a dining table or a mantelpiece, where a tall flame carries across the room. Stand one of each form together on a side table, or line all four along a sideboard for a dinner party or a quiet evening at home. Mixing the straight and twisted shapes in holders of different heights gives a relaxed, gathered look without much effort. Because each candle is 2.2cm across, they suit holders made for slim dinner candles, so it is worth measuring the cup of your own holder before you order.

Each candle is made by hand in 100% paraffin with a 100% cotton wick, and the maker gives a burn time of 10 hours.
