The Flur is a 62cm 5-light chandelier built around a white French gold ironwork frame decorated with sculpted metal leaves and matching clear glass droplets. Each of the five E14 bulb positions is enclosed by a white silk string shade that diffuses light evenly across the room, while the glass droplets catch and refract light from the bulbs and ambient daylight.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the chandelier suits traditional and transitional interiors where decorative lighting is expected to carry presence. The adjustable drop ranges from 700mm to 1800mm, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or set higher in a double-height hallway. The 62cm diameter provides sufficient coverage for tables up to 1.8m long without overwhelming smaller rooms.

The white French gold finish is hand-applied to the ironwork, giving a soft antique tone that sits between cream and pale gold. Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself does not contain dimming circuitry — dimming is controlled by the bulb type and wall switch.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes five E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for soft ambient light suitable for dining and bedrooms.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 700mm to 1800mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the fitting if the chain is shortened during installation.

Dust the ironwork and glass droplets with a dry microfibre cloth. For the silk shades, use a soft brush or low-power vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust without compressing the fabric. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the finish or shades.
