Description

These stoneware mugs come as a set of four, hand-painted in a pale pink and a deep pink, and each one holds 280ml, a proper mug size for a full cup of tea or a milky coffee. Two of the mugs carry broad vertical stripes and two carry bold blocks of colour in quarters, so the four look planned rather than identical. Each mug is 9.5cm across and 8cm tall, with a body that widens gently towards the base and a generous loop handle. On the block-patterned pair, even the handle is split between the two pinks.

They belong in the kitchen beside the kettle, on the breakfast table, or on a desk at home for the first coffee of the working day.
