Description

This grey stoneware jug holds 1500ml and wears a reactive glaze that breaks into a fine, vertical speckle across the whole body. It stands 24cm tall and 13cm across, with a tapering form that widens towards the base, a neat pouring lip and a looped handle with room for a full grip. At 1500ml it is a proper table jug for water, juice or milk at meals, not a small cream jug for coffee. A darker edge runs around the rim and frames the speckle, giving the top a clean finishing line.

It belongs on the kitchen table or the dining table, filled with chilled water for lunch, juice at breakfast or something cold for a long weekend supper with friends.
