Filipa Floral Cotton Throw - Multi

This throw is a cotton blend printed all over with a small multicoloured floral pattern of fern fronds, leafy sprigs and tiny flowers, finished with chunky tassels at the corners. It measures 160cm long and 130cm wide, a generous size for laying over a child's bed or tucking round a grown-up on the sofa. Half the fabric is cotton, with polyester, viscose, acrylic, polyamide and a touch of wool making up the rest. The reverse carries only a faint shadow of the print and shows the textured weave of the cloth, so a turned-back corner still looks finished.

We think of it first for a child's bedroom or playroom. Lay it across the foot of a bed, fold it over the edge of a toy box, or hang it from a clothes rail where the tassels can swing free; it is large enough to cover the top of a child's bed as an extra layer, yet it folds down small enough for a basket between uses. It is just as at home in a family sitting room, over the arm of a sofa or the back of a reading chair, ready for story time on a chilly evening.
