Description

This little nutcracker is a candle holder made entirely of stoneware, standing 9cm tall and 7cm across. His tall hat is open at the top to take a single candle, so the candle rises straight out of his hat. The figure is modelled in relief, with a painted crown band, a full moustache and beard, a frogged jacket front, a belt with a buckle and a pair of shiny boots, his hair falling to his shoulders. At 0.16KG he is light enough to move from shelf to table without a second thought, and his red jacket carries the whole piece.

He is made for the Christmas season, and he is at his best somewhere he can be seen up close. Stand him on a windowsill, a mantelpiece or a side table, where his size lets him sit among other decorations without crowding them.
