This stoneware Christmas candle holder takes the shape of a nutcracker, and it holds a single taper candle in the opening at the top of his crown. It is 8cm across and 7cm tall, so the figure itself stays small and the candle provides the height. The modelling is the charm of it: a rounded body, a raised moustache and full beard, a belted coat with a buckle at the front, arms held at his sides and a pair of boots at the base. The colour is multicoloured, with each part of the figure in its own shade under a glossy surface.
