Fabien is a stoneware ornament built as soft, folded ribbons that loop over and through one another, leaving two open centres, so you see straight through the form in two places. Fine carved lines run across every surface, fanning out from the openings like the gills under a mushroom cap, so the piece rewards a closer look from any side. It stands 26cm tall, 17.5cm long and 13cm wide, and in 100% stoneware it weighs 1.458KG, a reassuring heft for something that looks so light on its feet.
