This is a clear glass GLS bulb with a B22 bayonet cap, the traditional push-and-twist fitting used on most older British light fittings. Inside, four LED filament strips run the length of the glass and glow a warm amber, so the bulb looks like the incandescent lamps it replaces while drawing 7W. It gives 806 lumens at 2700K, the warm white most homes are used to from an old 60W bulb, and the pack states an equivalence of 60W conventional. The beam spreads across 280 degrees, so light leaves the bulb in almost every direction rather than pooling downwards.

Because the filaments are on show, this suits fittings where the bulb itself is part of the look: open pendants, a cord set over a kitchen table, wall lights with clear glass shades, or a shade with an open bottom where you see the lamp from below. It is equally at home hidden inside a fabric drum shade in a bedroom or a hallway. Check the cap on the old bulb before ordering: B22 has two small pins on the side of a smooth metal cap and pushes in with a quarter turn, while E27 screws in. The two are not interchangeable.

There is no dimming here; the specification gives Dimmable as No, so pair it with an ordinary on/off switch rather than a dimmer circuit, which can cause flicker or buzz on a non-dimmable lamp.
