Description

The Ellison is a 565mm bathroom mirror light with two horizontal clear glass tubes flanking a central brushed nickel cuff, all mounted on a matt black backplate. Each tube houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately), with the clear glass allowing the filament or LED element to be visible when lit. The faceted nickel cuff sits at the centre point, creating a visual anchor between the two glass sections.

Designed for installation above bathroom mirrors, double vanities and dressing tables, the Ellison carries an IP44 rating for protection against water splashes, making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 in UK bathroom installations. The 565mm width suits mirrors between 600-900mm wide, providing even light distribution across the face. The 122mm projection from the wall positions the bulbs approximately 150mm forward of the mirror surface when the fitting is mounted centrally above.

The dual-finish construction pairs a matt black powder-coated steel backplate with a polished brushed nickel centre piece, giving tonal contrast without introducing multiple colours into the palette. The black absorbs ambient light and recedes visually, while the brushed nickel reflects bathroom lighting and connects the fitting to other nickel or chrome fixtures in the room. The faceted geometric shaping on the centre cuff adds a three-dimensional detail when viewed from the side.

Each glass tube measures approximately 200mm in length and is held by nickel-plated metal collars at both ends. The clear glass shows minimal tint or texture, making the choice of bulb shape and colour temperature the primary visual variable once installed.
