Description

The Ellison is a single-light bathroom wall light built around a vertical clear glass cylinder that rises from a matt black circular backplate. A faceted heritage brass cuff sits midway up the glass tube, acting as both decorative accent and structural detail. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), which sits inside the glass cylinder behind the brass cuff.

Rated IP44 for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, the Ellison suits positions beside bathroom mirrors, in alcoves, or as a pair flanking a vanity unit. The 346mm height and 127mm width give the fitting enough presence to work as a feature light without dominating smaller powder rooms or en-suites. The thick clear glass diffuses the bulb glow while the faceted brass cuff catches and reflects light at multiple angles.

The heritage brass finish is a warmer, slightly darker tone than standard polished brass, with subtle antiquing that softens the metallic sheen. The fitting takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow that complements the heritage brass finish.

Can it be installed upside down?

No. The Ellison is designed to be installed with the glass cylinder rising vertically from the backplate. The bulb holder sits at the base of the glass tube, so inverting the fitting would place the lamp holder at the top and leave the base open.
