Description

The Elena is a 560mm five-light chandelier built around a polished chrome frame completely wrapped in fine Asfour crystal sheet, with five upward-facing candle arms and a central faceted crystal sphere pendant. The chrome arms curve outward in a balanced U-shape, each supporting a single E14 candle socket, while the crystal wrapping covers the metal frame beneath to create the appearance of a structure made almost entirely from crystal.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Elena provides ambient and decorative light through five candle bulbs (sold separately) that reflect and refract through the surrounding crystal. The adjustable drop ranges from 660mm to 1670mm, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in double-height spaces. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable run within the chain and central column.

The Asfour crystal used in the wrap is precision-cut Egyptian crystal with higher optical clarity than standard glass, giving sharper light refraction and more pronounced sparkle under both natural daylight and evening artificial light. The central sphere pendant sits below the five candle arms and acts as a visual anchor, balancing the overall composition. At 3.6kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing, and the polished chrome finish pairs with both contemporary interiors and transitional spaces mixing modern and classical elements.

The Elena takes five E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a warm ambient glow that complements the crystal.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The chandelier itself has no built-in dimming electronics.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 660mm minimum drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above when hung 700-900mm above a dining table. For higher ceilings or entrance halls, the drop extends to 1670mm by adjusting the chain length during installation.

How is the crystal maintained?

Wipe the crystal sheet and sphere pendant with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, avoiding soaking the polished chrome frame. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystal.
