Elena 3 Light Crystal Chandelier - Polished Chrome

The Elena is a 52cm three-light chandelier built on a polished chrome frame entirely wrapped in hand-applied Asfour crystal beads. Three curved arms extend from a central column, each terminating in an E14 candle bulb holder, and a faceted crystal sphere hangs below the main body as a counterweight finial. The crystal wrapping conceals almost all of the underlying chrome structure, giving the appearance of a continuous crystalline form when viewed from below.

Designed for bedrooms, entrance halls and dining areas with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the chandelier's adjustable drop ranges from 470mm to 1570mm depending on how much chain is used during installation. The 520mm diameter suits rooms from 10-16m² where a full-size chandelier would dominate. The three E14 bulbs provide ambient rather than task lighting, so the fitting works best paired with additional wall lights or lamps in rooms requiring higher brightness.

Each crystal bead is individually threaded onto wire and wrapped around the metal frame by hand, a technique Diyas uses across the Elena collection. The Asfour crystal is lead-free optical crystal cut with multiple facets, so when the bulbs are lit the beads refract and scatter light across the fixture and onto surrounding walls. The polished chrome finish on the canopy, chain and exposed metalwork reflects light back into the crystal, amplifying the prismatic effect. At 2.6kg the chandelier requires a secure ceiling mounting point rated for at least 5kg to allow safety margin.

What bulbs does the Elena take?

The chandelier takes three E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with LED candle bulbs between 4-6W at 2700K for warm white light that complements the crystal.

Is the Elena dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs. The fixture itself has no electronics — dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch installed on the circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable chain allows drops from 470mm to 1570mm. For a bedroom or entrance hall the chandelier typically hangs 2m-2.2m above floor level, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. Lower ceilings can accommodate the minimum 470mm drop if needed.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains. Wipe each crystal bead gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid spraying any liquid directly onto the fixture or allowing moisture to reach the electrical fittings.
