Description

Our Diya chopping board is shaped as a Christmas tree, with stepped tiers rising to a pointed top and a short trunk at its base. It is made entirely of marble in black, and like any natural stone, marble carries its own veining, so the pattern on the board you receive will differ from the next. At 35.5cm long, 22.5cm wide and 1cm thick, it is a generous size for a cheese course or a spread of festive bites, and at 2.61KG it has the settled weight you would expect from a slab of stone.

It belongs on the Christmas table, carrying cheese, cured meats, mince pies or a round of biscuits from the kitchen to your guests. It is food safe, so you can slice and serve straight from the stone. Marble stays naturally cool to the touch, which is why bakers have long rolled pastry on it. Between meals it leans neatly against the back of a kitchen worktop or sits propped on an open shelf as a seasonal decoration, and it makes a thoughtful present for anyone who hosts friends and family over the holidays.
