Description
The Debepare is a glass vase with an ovoid body that swells from a narrow base and draws in again towards a wavy rim. Fine ribs twist around it in a slow spiral, so the surface catches light from every side and never looks flat. The glass is smoked, a warm grey brown tint that stays see-through, so stems and water remain visible through the body. It stands 26.5cm tall and measures 19cm across at its widest, which puts it in a useful middle ground: tall enough to hold its own on a sideboard, compact enough for a bookshelf.
This vase belongs indoors, on a sideboard, a hallway console, a mantelpiece or the centre of a dining table. The smoked tint is quieter than clear glass and warmer than black, so it sits comfortably alongside oak, walnut, cream paintwork, brass and leather. The opening is 9cm wide, far narrower than the body, and that matters more than most people expect: it holds stems close together, so a modest bunch stands upright and a few tall branches look deliberate rather than lost. Empty, the spiral ribbing gives it enough shape to stand alone as a decorative piece.
The vase is made of glass, and glass does not absorb water or soak up stains the way porous ceramic can, so a rinse between arrangements keeps it clear. It weighs 1.62KG, a reassuring weight that feels solid in the hand. The ridges are where water marks tend to gather, so run a soft bottle brush along the grooves now and then to keep the spiral crisp. Change the water often and fill it to just below the shoulder, where the body curves in towards the rim, and a medium bunch will sit well.

Frequently Asked
How tall is the Debepare vase?
It stands 26.5cm tall and measures 19cm across at its widest point, a comfortable size for a sideboard, mantelpiece or dining table.
How wide is the opening?
The opening is 9cm wide, much narrower than the 19cm body, which keeps a modest bunch of stems close together and upright.
What colour is the glass?
The glass is smoked, a warm grey brown tint that stays see-through, so the stems and water remain visible through the spiral ribs.
Can the vase go outdoors?
We suggest keeping it indoors, on a sideboard, console, mantelpiece or dining table, where the smoked glass and spiral ribbing look their best.
How heavy is the vase?
It weighs 1.62KG, a solid weight for a glass vase of this size that feels reassuring whenever you lift it.
How should I clean the ribbed glass?
Glass does not absorb water, so a rinse between arrangements keeps it clear, and a soft bottle brush run along the grooves lifts any water marks.
