Description

This is a set of four stoneware mugs, each holding 380ml and standing 9cm tall and 8.5cm across. That capacity makes them true mugs rather than cups, with room for a long tea with milk, a large milky coffee or a hot chocolate. Each one is glazed in blue, with fine lighter stripes running around the body and a deeper band at the base. The glaze falls a little differently on every mug, so no two of the four look quite alike. The walls rise in shallow ridges and a generous loop handle sits to one side.

They are made for everyday drinking: a first coffee at the kitchen counter, tea at the table on a slow weekend, a warm drink at a desk through a long afternoon.
