Our Dachsy candle holder is a seated dachshund in stoneware, sitting proud beside the tall tube that holds your candle. It is a small, cheerful piece, 7.5cm long, 8.5cm wide and 12cm tall, and it weighs 0.32KG, light enough to move from shelf to table whenever the mood takes you. The dog wears dots over its body and head, the tube carries painted stripes, and a wavy, scalloped fin runs up its back edge, so the whole thing reads as a little sculpture as much as a candle holder. The finish is multicoloured and painted by hand, and you can see the brushwork in every dot.
