Description

The Knightsbridge curved grid rocker cover is a replacement module for the Curved Edge Grid Switch system, laser-printed with the word FREEZER in capital letters. The rocker is moulded from white thermoset resin with anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for kitchens, care facilities and food preparation areas where hygiene is critical.

Designed to fit Knightsbridge's modular curved grid plates, the rocker clips into place on a grid module already installed behind a faceplate, allowing the designation to be changed without rewiring or removing the grid plate from the wall. The 15.9mm width corresponds to a single-module position on a standard grid plate, and the 10mm projection from the plate surface gives a tactile switch action.

The laser-printed designation is permanent and will not fade or rub off under repeated use. The white finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's Curved Edge white grid plates and accessories, creating a consistent appearance across a multi-module installation. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations — the rocker is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installations.

Is this compatible with all Knightsbridge grid systems?

No. This rocker is designed specifically for the Curved Edge Grid system. It will not fit the Square Edge Grid system or standard rocker switches. Confirm your existing grid plate style before ordering.

Can the rocker be replaced without removing the grid plate?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the grid module behind the faceplate and can be removed and replaced without disconnecting wiring or removing the plate from the wall. This allows designations to be updated as room use changes.

What other designations are available?

Is the anti-microbial coating permanent?

The anti-microbial properties are built into the thermoset resin material itself, not applied as a surface coating. The properties remain active throughout the life of the product and are certified to ISO 22196:2011 by third-party testing.
