Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is a white thermoset resin replacement cover laser-printed with 'COOKER HOOD' labelling, designed to fit the Curved Edge Grid switch system. The cover clips onto a Curved Edge Grid module rocker, allowing existing grid switches to be relabelled without re-wiring or replacing the entire switch mechanism.

Intended for kitchen installations where a dedicated cooker hood extractor switch needs clear labelling, the rocker cover removes and replaces in seconds by hand without tools. The laser printing is permanent and resistant to wear from repeated switching. The white finish matches Knightsbridge's Curved Edge Grid range, which includes rocker modules for lighting circuits, socket outlets, dimmer controls and other switched functions.

The thermoset resin construction carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and has been third-party tested to ISO 22196:2011 for anti-microbial properties, making it suitable for clinical, care home and commercial catering environments where hygiene standards are monitored. The cover measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide with a 10mm projection from the grid faceplate. Knightsbridge provides a 25-year warranty on the cover.

Is this compatible with standard rocker switches?

No. This rocker cover only fits Knightsbridge Curved Edge Grid modules. It will not fit flat-plate rocker switches, standard grid systems, or other manufacturers' products.

Can the existing rocker be removed without tools?

Yes. Curved Edge Grid rocker covers are designed to be removed and replaced by hand. Gently pull the rocker away from the module face until it unclips, then press the new rocker cover onto the mechanism until it clicks into place.
