Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is a white thermoset resin replacement module laser-printed with 'BOILER' designation for the Curved Edge grid switch system. The rocker snaps onto the grid plate mechanism without tools, allowing the designation to be changed during installation or later rewiring work. Measuring 30.6mm tall by 15.9mm wide with a 10mm projection from the grid plate, it fits all Knightsbridge Curved Edge modular grid plates.

Designed for commercial, hospitality and large residential installations where labelled control points identify heating systems, the rocker cover's laser-printed designation is permanent and will not fade or rub off with daily use. The anti-microbial thermoset resin construction resists bacterial growth on the surface and is certified to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for healthcare, education and food-preparation environments where surface hygiene standards are enforced.

The white finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's Curved Edge switch and socket range, providing a consistent look across mixed grid plates that combine power outlets, data points and control switches. Is this compatible with standard switch plates?

No. This rocker is designed exclusively for Knightsbridge Curved Edge modular grid plates. It will not fit flat-plate switches, standard rocker switches or grid systems from other manufacturers.

Can the rocker be changed after installation?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the grid mechanism and can be removed and replaced without disconnecting the wiring or removing the grid plate from the wall. This allows designations to be updated if room functions change.

What does the anti-microbial rating mean?

The thermoset resin is tested to ISO 22196:2011, which measures bacterial growth reduction on treated surfaces. This makes the rocker suitable for healthcare, education and commercial kitchens where hygiene standards require antimicrobial electrical accessories.
