Description

The Coniston is a 60cm-diameter crystal chandelier built in an elongated acorn profile, tapering from a polished chrome crown through layered rows of clear cut crystal strands to a single crystal drop at the base. Twenty E14 bulb positions sit within the crystal framework, each bulb holder concealed behind the crystal rows to produce light that refracts through the cut facets rather than direct glare.

Designed for entrance halls, stairwells and double-height dining rooms with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Coniston's adjustable 1420-2880mm drop allows the chandelier to be set at the correct proportion for the ceiling height and room volume. The 600mm diameter suits spaces where a traditional chandelier presence is needed without dominating smaller floor plans. At 48.3kg the fitting requires ceiling joists capable of supporting the weight, and installation typically involves a secure ceiling plate and structural fixing into timber or concrete.

The polished chrome frame and clear crystal combination produces high light reflection across the full height of the piece, which reaches approximately 142cm at minimum drop. Each of the twenty E14 positions accepts candle-style LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 20W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and whether the bulbs themselves are visible through the crystal. Dimmable bulbs paired with a trailing-edge dimmer allow the intensity to be adjusted for daytime ambient light or evening centrepiece illumination.
