Description

The Coniston is a 14-light crystal linear suspension light built on a 1210mm × 410mm rectangular polished chrome frame, with hundreds of precision-cut crystal droplets hanging in multiple rows beneath. Each of the 14 E14 bulb positions (sold separately) sits within the crystal array, so when lit the chandelier refracts and multiplies the light through the faceted glass. The polished chrome frame and suspension cables reflect the refracted light back through the crystals, amplifying the optical effect.

Designed for large kitchen islands, dining tables seating 8-10 people, or double-height entrance halls, the Coniston occupies substantial visual and physical space. The 1210mm length suits islands or tables between 1800-2400mm long, with the chandelier positioned centrally to provide even distribution across the surface below. The adjustable drop from 460mm to 1840mm allows the fixture to be set 700-900mm above a worktop or dining table depending on ceiling height, or hung lower in double-height spaces to bring the light down into the occupied zone.

The chandelier weighs 26.3kg when fully assembled, requiring a ceiling fixing rated for at least 30kg and ideally a reinforced joist or RSJ above the plasterboard. The polished chrome finish shows fingerprints and requires occasional buffing with a microfibre cloth to maintain the mirror-like surface. The crystal droplets are individually wired onto the frame during assembly and can be removed for cleaning or replacement if one becomes chipped. The Coniston is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit.
