Description

The Colette is an 80cm circular LED pendant light built from aluminium with a high-shine chrome finish and opal silicone diffusers that wrap the full circumference of the ring. The integrated 65W LED array runs at 3000K warm white and is dimmable via the included radio frequency remote control, allowing brightness adjustment without requiring wall-mounted dimmer switches.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living areas, the Colette provides broad, even light distribution through its circular form. The 60-140cm adjustable drop suits both standard 2.4m residential ceilings and taller commercial or loft spaces, with the suspension cables trimmed during installation to set the final height. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output and eliminates visible hotspots, so the ring reads as a continuous band of light rather than a row of individual diodes. The chrome frame provides structural rigidity at 2.4kg weight and pairs cleanly with stainless steel appliances, polished handles and contemporary kitchen fittings. Yes. The fitting includes a dimmable LED driver and an RF remote control that adjusts brightness without requiring a wall dimmer switch. The remote operates through walls and doors, so it does not need line-of-sight to the fitting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The suspension drop is adjustable between 60cm and 140cm. For installation above a kitchen island or dining table, the fitting typically sits 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. Taller spaces can use the full 140cm drop for a more dramatic vertical presence.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Colette to dry indoor environments. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture or splash contact may occur.

What is the actual lumen output?

The specification table lists 5.85lm, which appears to be a data error. A 65W 3000K LED array typically produces 4,500-5,500 lumens depending on driver efficiency. Please contact us for confirmed lumen output if this specification is critical to your application.
