Description

The Cluster 36 Light Round Canopy is a 120cm diameter ceiling mounting plate in white, drilled to accept up to 36 individual pendant drops from a single fixing point. The canopy is 4.2cm deep, made from metal, and acts as the structural base for building a custom multi-pendant cluster from compatible suspension fittings.

Specified for large-scale installations in double-height entrance halls, hotel lobbies, stairwells, restaurants, showrooms and open-plan dining areas where a single conventional pendant would be lost in the volume of the room. The 36 outlet points allow pendants to be hung at varied drops to fill a vertical space, or set at matching heights to create a flat horizontal field of light. Each drop is wired and suspended independently through its own outlet on the canopy plate.

At 120cm across, the canopy needs a ceiling area of at least 130cm clear of beams, vents and detectors, and a structural fixing capable of carrying the combined weight of the plate plus 36 pendants and their cables. The shallow 4.2cm profile keeps the plate close to the ceiling so the visual emphasis sits on the pendants below rather than the mount itself. The white finish blends into plastered and painted ceilings, letting the suspension cables read as fine vertical lines rather than terminating at a contrasting disc.

The canopy is supplied as the mounting plate only. Pendants, suspension kits, lamp holders, cables and bulbs are selected and ordered separately, giving full control over the style, drop length and bulb type used in the finished cluster.
