Description
The Cluster 28 Light Rectangular Canopy is a 140cm x 90cm white metal ceiling plate with 28 individual fixing points, designed as the mounting hub for multi-pendant cluster installations. The plate is 4.2cm deep and conceals the wiring and connections for up to 28 separate pendant lights drawn down from a single ceiling rose position. Pendants and bulbs are sold separately, allowing the cluster to be configured to the room.
Designed for large open spaces, the rectangular format suits long dining tables, kitchen islands, hotel reception desks, restaurant banquettes and open-plan office meeting areas where a linear distribution of light is needed. Each of the 28 fixing points accepts a pendant cable, and drops can be set at varying lengths during installation to create a tiered cluster, a level grid, or a wave pattern across the plate. The wiring loom inside the canopy connects all 28 fittings to a single mains feed.
The white powder-coated metal plate sits flush against the ceiling, with the 4.2cm depth housing the connection blocks and cable management. The neutral white finish recedes against most ceiling colours so the visual focus stays on the pendants suspended below rather than the canopy itself. At 140cm long, the plate is substantial enough to anchor a large arrangement over a 2-3m table without dominating the ceiling above.

Frequently Asked
Are pendants and bulbs included?
No. The canopy is sold as the mounting plate and wiring hub only. Pendant fittings, cables, bulbs and ceiling rose components are selected and purchased separately, allowing the cluster to be tailored to the chosen pendant style and drop lengths.
How many pendants can it support?
The plate has 28 individual fixing points, so it supports up to 28 pendants. Fewer pendants can be fitted if a less dense cluster is preferred, with unused points covered or left blank during installation.
What size space does it suit?
At 140cm x 90cm the canopy is sized for large rooms with long sightlines, typically over dining tables of 2m or longer, kitchen islands, reception areas and open-plan commercial spaces. The plate needs a flat ceiling area at least 150cm x 100cm for safe installation and clearance.
Can pendant drops be set at different lengths?
Yes. Each of the 28 fixing points takes a separate pendant cable, and drop lengths are set during installation. This allows tiered, staggered or level arrangements depending on the look required and the height of the ceiling.
