Description

This tall Christmas tealight holder is made of 100% glass in champagne, and its stripes are what make it. Vertical bands run all the way round, smooth glossy panels alternating with bands of crushed, textured sparkle that catch whatever light is in the room. It stands 15cm tall and 10cm across, taller than it is wide, so a tealight sits well down inside it. Lit, the flame glows through the smooth panels and lights up the textured ones, which is exactly the kind of soft, cosy light a winter evening wants.

Its natural home is the festive table. One makes a quiet centre for a small table, and a few in a row down a runner give a longer dining table height and sparkle without blocking anyone's view across it. At 15cm it sits comfortably among glasses and plates, and once the meal is cleared it suits a mantelpiece, a sideboard or a windowsill just as well. The textured bands still sparkle when it is unlit, so it earns its place through the day as well as the evening, from the first week of December into the New Year.
