Description
This is an artificial cedar wreath: a full ring of fine, needle-like green sprigs built up over a twig-like base and dotted with small cones and tiny berry clusters. The tips of the sprigs and the scales of the cones look dusted with frost, which gives it the feel of greenery brought in on a cold morning. It measures 50cm across, a proper door size rather than a small table ring, and it is 11cm high when laid flat, which is how far it stands out from a door or wall. It is made from 70% polyethylene, 20% iron and 10% polyester, and it weighs 0.44KG.
It is made for Christmas. Hang it on the front door to welcome guests, on an inside door between rooms, or on a bare stretch of hallway wall above a console table. It also looks at home against weathered wood: hooked over the rung of an old ladder, it brings greenery into the corner of a room without taking up floor space. Because it is light, it is easy to hang from an over-door hook or a single nail, and easy to move from room to room as the weeks go by. The loose, slightly wild shape looks gathered rather than clipped, so it suits a farmhouse kitchen as well as a pared-back modern hall.
Polyethylene does not dry out or shed needles the way cut greenery does, so there is nothing to sweep up, and the wreath can be packed away after the holidays and brought out again next year. The cones, berry clusters and frosted tips all come as part of the wreath, so it looks finished as it is. The styling props shown are not included. For a fuller look, tie a wide velvet ribbon at the base, or lay it flat on a table and fill the centre with a shallow bowl of cones and baubles.

Frequently Asked
What is the wreath made from?
It is made from 70% polyethylene, 20% iron and 10% polyester, so the sprigs are artificial and will not dry out or drop needles like cut greenery.
How big is the wreath?
It is 50cm across, a full door size, and 11cm high when laid flat, which is how far it stands out from a door or wall once hung.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 0.44KG, so it is a light piece to lift, hang and move between doors and walls over the Christmas weeks.
Can I use it again next Christmas?
Yes. Because it is artificial and made mainly of polyethylene, it can be packed away after the holidays and brought out again next year.
Does it come with the ribbon bow?
No. The wreath comes with its own cones, berry clusters and frosted tips, but the styling props shown, including the bow, are not included.
What colour is the wreath?
It is green, a full ring of fine needle-like sprigs, with cones and tips that look dusted with frost all the way round.
