Description

The price is for one side plate, sold in the carton quantity shown; it comes in three designs, shown together in the photographs, and the design you receive cannot be chosen. Each is a round ceramic plate 20cm across and 3cm tall, a true side plate size: big enough for toast, a slice of cake or a starter, yet small enough to sit beside a dinner plate without crowding the table. The surface is multicoloured, with a decal print lifted by handpainted details, so every plate carries touches added by hand. One design has rows of small rosettes, one a fine lace-like pattern, and one rings of tiny marks circling the centre.

It suits breakfast and lunch every day, a cheese course after dinner, or a plate of biscuits passed round with coffee. On an open kitchen shelf or a dresser its pattern brings interest among plainer pieces, and it suits anyone who likes a relaxed, cottage-style table.
