Description

The Knightsbridge SF7300PC is a BT master telephone socket with an integrated surge arrestor and RC circuit filter, housed behind a polished chrome screwless faceplate. The master socket provides the primary termination point for incoming telephone lines, allowing service providers to obtain a fixed resistance value during line diagnostics without needing to access secondary extension sockets downstream.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses screw terminals for secure cable connection. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, giving a clean finish with no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The built-in gasket between the faceplate and sub-frame provides a dust-resistant seal around the socket aperture.

The polished chrome finish is achieved on 201 stainless steel, providing a reflective metallic surface that pairs well with contemporary interiors and other polished chrome electrical accessories. The low-profile design adds only 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted, keeping the socket flush with plasterwork. Certified to BS 5733 for telephone master sockets, the unit includes overcurrent protection via the surge arrestor to protect connected telephone equipment during electrical transients on the line.
