Our Breeze bouquet is an artificial arrangement that gathers a spring armful into one tied bunch: magnolia-style blossoms on bare branching stems, a large ruffled peony-style bloom, frilled pink flower heads, spires of tiny pink blossom, feathery fronds and long trailing tassels of foliage. At full length it stands 138cm tall and spreads 40cm across, so it reads as a generous arrangement for a tall vase rather than a small posy. It is made from polyester, iron and polyethylene, weighs 0.72KG, and comes wrapped in paper with a cord tied around the stems.

Because it needs no watering and does not wilt, it suits the places where fresh flowers struggle or get forgotten: a deep window sill, a hallway console, a sideboard in the living room or a bedroom chest of drawers. Trim it hard and it sits comfortably in a mid-height vase on a mantelpiece; trim it lightly and it makes a full display in a floor vase beside a sofa or in the corner of a room.
