Description

The Bord B ONE is a single-lamp LED spotlight built around a round aluminium head measuring Ø80 by 85mm. It is a ceiling-mounted fitting that takes one GU10 lamp rated up to 10W, running directly from a 220-240V AC mains supply. The GU10 cap is the standard UK twist-and-lock spotlight format, the same fitting US buyers will recognise as a directional accent or track-style spot. Because the lamp is a PAR16 type, the light output and beam angle depend on the GU10 bulb chosen, which lets the fitting be tuned to either a tighter accent throw or a wider spread.

The B ONE suits indoor accent and task lighting rather than filling a whole room with ambient light. It works well picking out a feature wall, artwork, a shelf or a worktop run, where a single directional GU10 throws a focused pool of light onto the chosen surface. Group several across a ceiling and the coverage builds up to wash a longer run or a kitchen counter. Can the Bord B ONE be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The B ONE carries an IP20 rating, which covers dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed outdoors, in a porch or carport, or in a bathroom, shower zone or any damp position.

Is a GU10 bulb included, and can it be dimmed?

No GU10 lamp is supplied, so you choose one to suit your wattage, colour temperature and beam angle, up to a maximum of 10W. Whether it dims depends on selecting a dimmable GU10 lamp paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

What beam angle does it give?
