Description

Beserah Wall Art is a hand-painted relief panel in a warm mustard yellow. It is a portrait rectangle 60cm across and 80cm tall, standing 3.7cm proud of the wall. The design is built from simple shapes: a circle set over an arch, split down the centre by a narrow channel, with a half circle rising from the right-hand edge. Each shape is worked in raised texture, some areas finely stippled and others drawn with rows of radiating lines, so the surface reads like sunlight fanning out from the centre. Because the pattern sits in relief rather than being printed flat, it changes as the light moves across the room.

At this size it suits a wall that wants one confident piece rather than a cluster of frames: the space over a sideboard or console, a chimney breast, a hallway or the wall behind a bed. The yellow is warm without being loud, so it sits happily against white and cream, and it also holds its own against a bold painted wall such as terracotta or coral. Because the colour lives in the paint and the texture rather than in a busy image, it brings warmth and interest to a room while staying calm, which makes it a good choice for a living room, dining room or bedroom that needs a lift without more clutter.

Every panel is hand-painted, and the same yellow carries round the edges, so the sides look finished from any angle and it needs no frame. The depth of 3.7cm gives it real presence on the wall, with soft shadows gathering in the grooves and along the raised edges whenever light falls across the surface. It weighs 1.5KG, light enough for one person to lift and level. As a piece of decor it belongs indoors, so we would hang it in a living space rather than a bathroom or porch.
