Our Bekka wall shelf is a square grid of open compartments, four across and four down, in painted blue wood. It is 70cm long, 70cm tall and 10cm wide, and that 10cm is how far it stands out from the wall, so it fills a good stretch of wall without crowding the room in front of it. The composition is 98% reclaimed wood and 2% iron, and it has real heft at 6KG, so it reads as a proper piece of furniture rather than a light rack. Each compartment frames one small thing on its own, which is what gives the shelf its charm.
