Description

Beatrice is a stoneware ornament built as a little tower of stacked shapes: a ball at the top set into a half-moon, then an arch carved with nested ridges, a block, a smaller ball and a ribbed cone at its foot. It is made entirely of stoneware and finished in white, with a glossy surface flecked with fine speckles that keep the white from reading flat. At 14cm long, 13cm wide and 27cm tall it is a mid-sized piece, tall enough to hold its own on a shelf without crowding the things around it, and at 0.904KG it has a satisfying weight in the hand.

This is a purely decorative piece, a small sculpture for the living room, a hallway console or a bedroom chest of drawers.
