This wooden heart plaque says it plainly: Mum is number one. A round-cheeked brown bear stands on the left, hugging a gold trophy marked No1 with a little bunch of pink, orange and yellow flowers tucked into it. The word MUM sits beside it in soft pink, orange and blue-grey letters. Tiny hearts are scattered across a white background, and the back is left plain and clean. It is a small piece, 9cm tall, 9cm across and 3cm deep, so it fits on the narrowest shelf. We love how cheerful and gentle it feels at once.
