The Bask is a 48cm-diameter crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame supporting four E14 bulb positions surrounded by faceted cut crystal droplets and prisms. The crystals are arranged in concentric layers around a central vertical axis, creating a cylindrical silhouette that refracts light outward in all directions when the bulbs are lit. Each crystal hangs from an internal ring fixed to the chrome frame, giving the chandelier a combined weight of 9.8kg.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Bask works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 670mm minimum drop positions the chandelier body approximately 600mm below the ceiling rose, while the adjustable chain extends the maximum drop to 1600mm where taller ceilings allow. The 48cm width suits rooms approximately 3m square without overwhelming smaller spaces or appearing undersized in larger ones.

The polished chrome finish on the frame and canopy provides high reflectivity, amplifying the light cast by the bulbs through the surrounding crystal. The chandelier accepts four E14 bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), allowing total flexibility over light temperature and brightness. Dimmer compatibility depends on bulb choice — pairing with dimmable LED or halogen E14 bulbs enables full dimming control. The chandelier itself is compatible with dimmer switches, but dimming capability depends on the bulbs fitted. Pair with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs to enable full dimming control. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer switches.

What bulbs does it take?

The Bask takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or hallway lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 670mm minimum drop suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The chain can extend the drop to 1600mm for taller ceilings, allowing the chandelier to be positioned lower over a dining table or in a double-height entrance hall.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or allowing water into the bulb sockets.
