This lounge chair is made entirely of rattan, with an arched back of upright canes, open curved arms and legs that sweep round into looped runners at the floor. Every joint is bound with wrapped rattan strips, which gives the brown frame its neat, banded detail. It is 77cm wide, 61cm from front to back and 75cm tall. The seat sits low at 34cm, with 50cm of depth to lean back into, and the arms rest at 54cm, so this is a chair for lounging rather than sitting upright at a table.

Put it where you want to slow down: beside a window with a book, in the corner of a living room next to a small side table, or in a bedroom as a place to sit while you get ready. It is rated for a maximum load of 110KG, and at 6.5KG it is light enough to lift and carry from one room to another when the furniture needs a shuffle or guests need an extra seat.
